So far the above dress shoe is too new for reviews. But these very classic Hush Puppies Angle II women's wide width shoes. These come in widths AAA to Extra Wide, and are currently available in 5 colors and have 284 five star reviews at Zappos. Where they are just $44, and will likey last for years. I'll let you know a few years from now. One thing I can tell you about these shoes I would have never guessed: You can wear them in hot, sweaty weather, with out hose, and NO BLISTERS!

Granted I wear mine with Foot Petals - Heavenly Heelz 6-Pair Pack Combo (Black Iris/Silver Rose/Buttercup) - Accessories I got a single pair of these at Target for like $7 - $8. But they seemed to be last pair in their shoe department. The Zappos price of $40 for 3 pairs, which is what you'll find if you take that Foot Petals link, seems pretty pricey. On the other hand they have stayed in these shoes since March. Even after repeated wearing on very sweaty feet days. I have had lesser brands leave my heels in the blister zone within hours of their first wearing. Then I avoided wearing any dress shoe that came near my heels for years. So Foot Petals may well be worth the money.

Zappos seems to have the widest selection of wide and extra wide width women's shoes. Silhouettes seems to have, mostly, the best prices, but no reviews and not a lot of info about each footwear style. Shoebuy has excellent prices, information about each footwear style, and reviews. But they run low on stock first.

My Money Saving Shoe Shopping Technique

What I often do is shop Zappos for style. Then check Shoebuy, by putting the shoe maker and name of style into Shoebuy's search engine. Then see if my size is available. In this way I saved around $17, I believe it was, on the Sofft heeled sandal you can see and read about here.

Sadly, at the moment, Shoebuy is not carrying Sofft's beautiful women's wide shoes, nor La Canadienne's wide and extra wide boots and other footwear. Both of these fine footwear makers shoes, sandals and boots get good, if not excellent reviews for appearance and comfort. I hold out for comfort. How good are you going to look if your feet are killing you anyway?

Silhouettes Trendy Women's Wide Shoes on sale!

These trendy women's extra wide sandals, both below and above, are already on sale at Silhouettes!

Silhouettes and Emily Closet's shoes have lots of new and interesting dress shoes in now. And the Most seem to come in widths up to extra wide! These animal print thongs and Silhouettes' satin espadrille, are already on sale!

Silhouettes footwear is inexpensive and stylish. The only problems shoe shopping at Silhouettes is that their shoe sizes seem to not come in half sizes after 9 1/2. This grey goes with so many women's suits you'll find this fall!
