Freya's Lyla Large Cup Size Bras

These sheer and sexy bras are based on Freya's best selling Arabella large cup size bras. Like the Arabella bras, these also come in cup sizes up to J!

These bras have different upper cup embroidery; strap and center gore embellishments too. While the embroidery on the Arabella full figure bras have a more geometric look, these Lyla bras have a contrasting floral embroidery, making these bras a tad more romantic and feminine in style.

Plunge Balcony and a Balcony Underwire Bra styles

The Plunge style

The plunge version of these underwire balcony bras is #4301. At most stores, I will mention below, this style comes in the 28DD to G and 30 to 38D to G size range. Strangely, Her Room says they carry this style in cup sizes GG to J as well. I will try to make sure those bras are also really the plunge style, then up date this. If you really wanted a smaller center gore bra, I would call and ask before ordering.

This plunge style has:

• 2 inch center gore, Her Room customer service says the GG to J cup bras in style #4301 actually does have this same low center gore too!
• 3 inch sides
• 1/2 inch wide straps
• has a two hook and eye closure

The regular balcony style has:

The larger cup balcony bra in this style is #4302. These bras come in the large cup size range of 30 to 38GG to J.

This GG to J style has:

• 3 1/2 inch center gore
• boned 4 inch sides
• 1 inch wide straps
• has a three hook and eye closure

Also strange at Her Room, with regard to this larger cup style; There is a picture of it with the lower sections of the cups are opaque black. This picture is available no where else I have seen this bra. I believe this was an earlier version.

These bras have sheer and sexy mesh three-section underwire cups. Contrasting floral embroidery adorns the upper cup sections. A contrasting satin bow with a crystal drop accents this bra style's center gore. Contrasting satin bows also accent where the straps meet the cups.

The seamed cups of these bras direct your breast forward. A wide center gore keeps your breast in place while this bra's arched center panel makes life more comfortable if you have a high tummy. All the reviews for these bras at Her Room, where reviewers give bra sizes, and more info, are for the plunge, #4301, style, even women who wear J cup sizes. Currently these bras have a 4 star average out of 12 reviews.

Her Room gives great, measured, details about bras they carry. It is for that reason that I will use their info regarding the difference between these two bra styles.

Women of petite, average and tall stature, from age groups 20s to 70s, but largely 20s and 30s, wearing cup sizes D to J, largely F are giving these bras great ratings for:

At Figleaves both styles have separate reviews. The plunge style has a 5 star average out of six reviews. This style has a lot of:

• but one women did not like the 'pants', another did not like the thong, both wanted sets...still loved these bras.

Only the plunge style has one, 5 star review at Bare Necessities. This woman tells us; these are high quality bras, great under just the right outfit.

Stores with Both Bra Styles and matching intimates

The large cup style, at Figleaves, has one each four and five star ratings out of two reviews. Interestingly one said hers was completely sheer, and she is enthused. The other women, who gave it 4 stars anyway, says the one she received had, (as I described regarding a picture of this style above), fabric lower sections and only the upper cup was sheer...

The current color is this style is noir, (black), with contrasting red embroidery and bows. Some of the last amethyst color is on sale, in very limited sizes at all three stores mentioned in this article.

Her Room, Figleaves and Bare Necessities all carry both the plunge, 4301,and the large cup, 4302, versions of these bras. However, they appear to be leaving stock, at full price, at Bare Necessities.

Her Room only has the matching briefs and thongs. Figleaves and Bare Necessities have those as well as the matching suspender, (or garter), belts! However, they seem to be leaving stock, in both colors at Bare Necessities.
