Kalyani's high cotton content Large Cup Bras

I first heard about Kalyani large cup size bras from a reader of our blog, Aquamarine, last summer. We were on the quest of the rare large cup seamless bra! I recall she mentioned as near to a seamless bra she had found in cup sizes HH and JJ. This may be the very bra she wrote of on July 31st, 2008, as it is very close to a seamless. It dose have a seam, which appears to be straight up the front of the bra's cups.

The three women who currently have reviewed this bra Figleaves say this bra puckers on this seam. All three women were enthusiastic about various aspects of this bra, fit, comfort, design and lift. These seem to be the main pros and cons of this fuller figure bra. Also, these bras are very reasonably priced as large cup sized bras go.

When I first saw this bra at Bravissimo I got the impression, and even now Bravissimo claims this bra is exclusive to them. Perhaps they mean in its solid color pink and grey colors. Figleaves has this bra in black and white in sizes 28 and 30D to K, 34 and 36D to HH and 38D to K. This is a much wider range of sizes than this bra is available in at Bravissimo, at the moment.

This bra has a high cotton, 49% cotton, 21% modal, 12% nylon, 7% spandex and 11% Polyester, content. As one reviewer put it, an excellent cotton content for women like living in hot humid places, like herself in Florida!

This bra gives you 3/4 cup coverage, with wide set straps. This underwire bra's support is enhanced by its additional light internal sling support. As Aquamarine pointed out in the above mentioned blog reply, this is real close to seamless for over G cup sized bras. Figleaves measures this bra to be in bra sizes34G to be equal to a US size 34I, in 38H to be equal to a 38K and in 38K to be equal to a US size 38P. There seems to be a bit of inconsistency there, but it gives you an idea of which size might fit you. This also gives you an idea of how nice it is that Figleaves measures many of their bras for us. It is nice that these stores have good return policies, but much better still if the bra you order fits when it arrives!
