Two full figure bras
voted best daily wear for plus size women by Red Book magazine
Update 2012: Both this style and Wacoal Body Suede Ultra bras are, respectively, highly rated and best sellers at Her Room and Bare Necessities.
Wacoal makes a good variety of plus size bras, including the full figure bra voted as the best daily wear bra for big beautiful women by Red Book magazine. And a newer version voted best by Good Housekeeping and seen on The View. Both are from their body suede full figure seamless bra line. Many of their plus size bras are seamless as is this full figure bra. You'll find Wacoal bras at excellent prices at Bare Necessities, Fresh pair and Figleaves in the right column of our Bras Shapers and Panties page.
This full figure bra, Wacoal #85185, (Update, this bra #81485, is now called Simply Stated Full Figure Bra.) It has cushioned straps and a stretch insert for further comfort. Their plus size bras have generous cups, which are lightly lined. They also have side support and panels and hidden cup-slings for the "ultimate support".
These plus size bras come in sizes 32 to 40DDD, in ivory, French nude or black. And this style of full figure bra is seamless. So these would work with all your shirts and blouses.
Between Red Book's voting this full figure bra the best comfort, daily wear and Wacoal saying that the hidden cup-sling offers the "ultimate support". I'd like to try these if I can get down to a DDD cup. If your already that size or lower, these full figure bras sound like a sure thing for a comfortable day!
Update 9/24/07 You'll now find Wacoal full fit bras in cup sizes up to G at the above mentioned, (first paragraph), online stores.
Further Updates Wacoal's similar bra #85184 Body Suede Ultra Underwire Bra is written about in Good Housekeeping and seen on The View, It comes in sizes up to 44DDD and comes in four colors!
It appears that Wacoal might have changed the model numbers. The earlier ultra suede #81585, is now a perfect seamless bra, available in the same sizes, has the same support features as the above bra and cheaper!
Here is a much better picture of this style, that goes to Bare Necessities. I am just undecided as to where I want to use this.
