On close inspection of this boot at both Zappos and Silhouettes the ankle detailing is the same. Both boots come in widths up to extra wide. Once again these boots are occasionally slightly less expensive at Zappos than Silhouettes. Even though they are currently on sale at Silhouettes. They carry them in sizes 4 to 13 in medium, wide and extra wide widths.

At Zappos if you order

• a medium width, you get a 14 inch calf
• a wide width, you get a 17 inch calf
• an extra wide, you get a 19 inch calf

At both Zappos and Silhouettes this stylish women's dress boot comes in black or coffee. Although at Zappos it comes in sizes 5.5 to 13 and Silhouettes in sizes 7 to 12 in wide and 6 to 12 in extra wide calf.

This quality ladies dress boot has a 2", Silhouettes, or 2 1/2", Zappos, heels. And a 14", Silhouettes, or 15", Zappos, shaft. Both boots feature the stretch side gore and zip for easy on and off.. I have noticed measurement discrepancies over the years while comparing the exact same shoe brands and styles at Zappos and Shoebuys. I believe this is the basic difference between this boots at these 2 stores. Just 2 different manners of measure. Unless Silhouettes has a special deal with David Tate to create these boots with specifically different calf widths for all 3 foot widths.
